Frequently asked questions

Does Roazt connect to my bank?

No — and it never will. That's the entire point. You add expenses by snapping a receipt, importing a payment screenshot, or typing them in. Roazt reads receipts on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Your bank credentials are never requested and never involved.

Where is my data stored?

Entirely on your iPhone. Roazt has no servers. If you want a backup, you can optionally enable iCloud sync, which uses your own private iCloud account that we cannot access. Verify it yourself by using the app in Airplane Mode — everything still works.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no email, and no login. Open the app and start using it immediately.

What's the difference between lifetime and monthly?

Both unlock the exact same premium features. Lifetime is a single one-time purchase you own forever (and can share with family via Family Sharing). Monthly is an auto-renewing subscription with a 7-day free trial, for those who prefer smaller payments. We built lifetime because we're tired of subscriptions too.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open your device Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → Roazt → Cancel. Subscriptions renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open Roazt → Settings → Restore Purchases. As long as you're signed in with the same Apple ID, your lifetime unlock returns. Family Sharing members are covered too.

Can I get my data out of the app?

Yes. Premium users can export all transactions as a CSV file from Settings. Your data is yours to take anywhere.

How do I delete all my data?

Settings → Privacy & data → Delete everything. This permanently wipes all transactions, images, and settings from your device. Since we hold no copy, it's gone completely.

Does Roazt work in Arabic?

Yes — fully, with complete right-to-left support and roasts written natively in Arabic, not translated. Switch language anytime in Settings.

The roasts are too harsh / too soft. Can I change that?

Absolutely. Pick from three tones — Gentle, Honest, or Savage — anytime. Savage roasts your habits with love, never you personally.
