Roazt ("Roazt", "we", "us") is an iPhone app that helps you track and understand your spending, entirely on your device. This policy explains how the app handles your information. Contact us at privacy@roaztapp.com.
We collect no personal data. Roazt has no backend servers, no user accounts, and no analytics or tracking SDKs. There is no sign-up, no email, and no login. The App Store privacy label for Roazt reads "Data Not Collected."
When you use Roazt you create data such as expense amounts, merchant names, categories, budgets, notes, and optional receipt images. This information is:
If you turn on iCloud sync in Settings, your data is backed up to your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit private database. This is infrastructure operated by Apple under your Apple ID — we have no access to it and cannot read your data. The feature is off by default and can be disabled anytime. Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The one-time lifetime unlock and the optional monthly subscription are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. We never receive or handle your payment information, card details, or Apple ID. Apple provides us only anonymized, aggregated sales figures.
If you enable daily roast notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. No push server is involved and no data leaves your phone to deliver them.
When you share a roast card, you use Apple's standard share sheet to send it to apps you choose. By default, monetary amounts are hidden on shared cards; you may choose to reveal them. What you share, and with whom, is entirely your choice and handled by the receiving app under its own policy.
Roazt is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone — as noted, it collects no information at all.
Because your data never leaves your device (unless you enable your own iCloud backup), it is protected by your iPhone's security — your passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, and device encryption. Roazt also offers an optional in-app App Lock for an extra layer.
You are always in full control. Export all your data as a CSV file, or permanently delete everything from Settings → Privacy & data → Delete everything. Since we hold no copy of your data, deleting it on your device deletes it completely.
If we update this policy we will revise the date above and post the new version here. Material changes will be reflected in the app.
